Using the service
You may use Know Food Safety for lawful, personal exam preparation. You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, scrape or copy substantial portions of the question bank or course, resell access, share a paid account, introduce malicious code, or use the service to violate another person's rights.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. We may suspend or disable accounts involved in fraud, abuse, security threats, or material violations of these terms.
Free and paid access
Some features are available without charge, while complete study access may require a one-time purchase. The price, included features, and access period shown at checkout form part of your purchase. Taxes may apply. Any refund rights provided by applicable law remain unaffected.
We may improve, replace, or retire features over time. We will not intentionally remove a purchased access entitlement without a valid reason such as fraud, charge reversal, a legal requirement, or a serious breach of these terms.
Educational purpose and NRAEF independence
The service is educational material, not legal, regulatory, food-safety, or health-inspection advice. It does not replace your local health code, your employer's food-safety program, official ServSafe materials, or instruction appropriate to your role.
Know Food Safety is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. ServSafe is their registered trademark. Practice questions are not live ServSafe exam questions, and use of the service does not guarantee a passing score.
Intellectual property
The Know Food Safety software, branding, original questions, explanations, and course presentation are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for your own study while you have access. Official third-party material remains subject to its applicable rights and attribution rules.
Availability and warranties
We work to keep the service accurate, secure, and available, but it may occasionally contain errors or be interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
Responsibility and liability
You remain responsible for exam registration, compliance with your local health code, and every food-safety decision in your workplace. To the extent permitted by law, Know Food Safety is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, or security changes. Material changes will apply prospectively, and the revision date will be updated. Questions can be sent to anthony@certcrush.app.
